For more than 20 years, Thorsten Wulf has been creating impressive decoration and lighting worlds as a lighting designer for shopping centers, cities, hotels, events and exclusive private projects.
More than 20 years ago, Thorsten Wulf started his own business. From the first event projects, a company for high-quality decorations, lighting solutions and impressive staging concepts developed step by step.
From 2005 onwards, the focus shifted to shopping centers as experience spaces. This is where Thorsten Wulf’s special passion for decoration with impact developed — especially during the Christmas season. Many of the products used were already created under his own direction.
2010 the founding of DEW GmbH marked the next major step. The decoration business became a company for trade, development and staging. Own products and an in-house LED light chain made DEW a visible part of modern lighting and decoration worlds. Today, these products shine in numerous shopping centers.
With the move to Beelitz in 2014 the company continued to grow. New storage and work areas created the basis for another business field: the illumination of cities and municipalities. Today, numerous municipalities rely on DEW for Christmas lighting and lighting solutions.
Since 2019, DEW has expanded its portfolio with Easter decorations and seasonal experience worlds — including impressive XXL figures for shopping centers and promotional areas.
In 2021 and 2022, the next stage of development followed: international lighting installations and light gardens. Projects on Mainau Island, in Paris and Rome, as well as the collaboration with an Italian partner, strengthened Thorsten Wulf’s profile as a lighting designer for special places and experiences.
